50th Merdeka Celebration
So, finally Malaysia has reached its 50th year of independence. Its been a long way, happy to say Malaysia has come a long way, from Communists and separate states and whatnots to being what it is today, with modern infrastructures and amenities. But sad to say, there’s still the third-world mentality here. Old habits die hard?

Off to Ikano yesterday at about 8-something for the Ikano Street Party
Amazing, I managed to borrow the car! I’m still banned from night-driving though.
Managed to convince worry-wart Daddy that I’d be home asap! Really!!
Was expecting jam but amazingly traffic was quite smooth that hour. Amazing :O

Loitered around Curve, Ikea, Tesco, Cineleisure etc etc for 4 damn hours -.-”
Seriously, I was close to actually ditching the plan, go home, and catch up on my zzz’s…

Didn’t know my perseverance was *that* high O.o
And the most dampening of all…
I *forgot* to clear the pictures in my camera before I left the house!! -.-”
Talk about forgetful…at the wrong time -.-
So, for the 15-minute fireworks, I only recorded for like…1 minute and 20 seconds???
Grr….damn geram >.<
Things to get next time:
Memory card with larger space
Batteries that last longer; and
Gingko biloba *for strengthening memory*
In the 4 hours, to entertain our pei selves, we indulged in..

Nyum

Reshmonu was there to entertain the crowd

And not to forget, SerenaC!!

She was throwing prizes to the crowd in the far front *which is one part of the place I dare not venture after the GooodCharlotte concert phobia x_x*
And they started the countdown at “6″ LOL
Was still busy clearing pictures O.o and there’s still *loads* to clear!
No choice but to start recording o.-”
But the fireworks…paling syiok if watched live
No regrets although didn’t get to record the whole thing.
There was one part where the fireworks released made a picture of the national flower of Malaysia, the Bunga Raya.
Syiok-ness xD
Hahaha looking forward to watching the one at New Year 2008. Can’t wait X)
