The real world

Lemme pose a question. Would you, or would you not, risk your new job to be with your family/friends?

I don’t mean saying “no” to your future employer, but putting off the new job because you have other agendas on the day of the interview itself(if your employer asked if you could start immediately) and the day after that. And telling your employer about it. (Providing it is the truth, of course).

Is it wrong to do that? Hey I was being truthful y’know. How’d I know they wanted me to start work so fast??

Lesson learned : DO NOT schedule two interviews in one day in case the earlier one hired you and won’t let you go off easily.

Unfortunately, my Dad wasn’t satisfied with my answer. He said I should’ve just accepted the job right there and then (and just forget about the interview in KL).

O_o I can’t do that! I have a friend waiting for me! :O

But after my father made a speech on the relation between the two kinds of jobs and many other rather rational points, I realised that both jobs are actually inter-related. So, I’d be stupid if I were to accept a jobĀ  of almost the same price but I have to deduct cost from transport services.

Then I decided, I’ll try for the job near my area. That is a shaky answer. I don’t think I have enough confidence. But I’ll see to it. Maybe the job isn’t as bad and boring as some had commented.

And layzeeJaycee adviced me to drive or have someone take me to my workplace. As alot of people know, the snatch thief cases have risen. My area is definitely not safe anymore. Even my Mom mentioned that she heard a scream few days ago, and from the grapevines she heard that there was a snatch theft case. That wasn’t very reassuring -_-
